This check monitors the memory usage on HP Procurve Switches which support the NETSWITCH-MIB. The check uses the total amount of memory and the currently used memory values.

On each switch which supports this MIB one service is being created.

The check will result in a WARNING/CRITICAL state when the given thresholds for the memory usage are reached.

Check parameters

Parameter	Type	Description
warning	int	Memory usage percentage at which a warning level is triggered.
critical	int	Memory usage percentage at which a critical level is triggered.

Performance data

One variable: The current memory usage

Inventory

On each switch which supports this MIB one service Memory is being created.

Configuration variables

Variable	Type	Description
hp_procurve_mem_default_levels	int, int	Default levels used by inventorized checks. This variable is preset to (80, 90).
