Linux Administration Fundamentals
A week and everything in it - this is the vision of this Linux seminar for administrators. The seminar covers all topics relevant to the administration of a server. Our goal is a very pragmatic and quick introduction to Linux not the preparation for a certification.
No - there are no Desktop issues in this week. Instead there are networking topics including configuration of NFS, SAMBA and Apache and administration with SSH. Thus, the participants will be released with basic skills, but also know how Linux is used for the most important server applications.
All topics covered in the training are generally independent of a particular Linux distribution and are for SuSE, Red Hat, Debian, Ubuntu and other distributions - although occasionally, if necessary, the instructor shows the characteristics of one or other distribution.
NutzenAfter completing this course you will be able to administrate a Linux system on the command line, regardless of the distribution. You know all the important and commonly used commands and configuration files. You understand the boot process and know what to do if the system fails to boot properly. You can integrate a Linux system into a network, find and fix errors.
Furthermore, you will be able to configure NFS, Samba and Apache and operate productively on Linux systems remotely via SSH.
